Hydrawise Software will allow a contractor selling their business to transfer customers over to the buying contractor. This process should be done through the Web Application.
The following topics will be covered in this process:
- Selling contractor selects buying contractor as their managing contractor.
- If selling contractor is currently managed, the current contractor must be removed.
- Buying contractor moves applicable customers to their account.
- Buying contractor removes selling contractor from their account.
Selling Contractor: From the Home dashboard of the original sellers account, click on Account Details.
Selling Contractor: Under Privacy Setting, click the edit (
) button.
Selling Contractor: In the Search Contractors box, search for the buying contractor. Select the contractor then click Ok to confirm.
Selling Contractor: The new managing contractor will now be visible under your Privacy Settings.
Buying Contractor: Log into the Web Application. Click on the Multi-Site Manager then My Customers.
Buying Contractor: Locate the selling contractor's name (e.g., Smith Landscapes, Inc.). From their customer list, choose the customers that need to be moved. Click the Three Dots next to the customer name, then Move Customer.
Buying Contractor: Select Your Account from the drop-down, and click Move. The customer will now be under your account. This will move the customer from the selling contractor into the buying contractor's account.
Buying Contractor: Customer is now under Your Account (buying contractor's account). Repeat this process for all customers that should be moved to the buying contractor's account.
Buying Contractor: Click the Three Dots to the right of the selling contractor. Click Remove From My Account. The selling contractor will be removed from the buying contractor's account.
Selling Contractor: Contractor can now cancel being managed by the buying contractor. Click the My Account, then click Account Details. Click Remove Contractor.
