The Real-Time Clock message may indicate one or more potential system failures.
Lithium Fail – Indicates that the lithium battery on the RTC board has failed. This battery is not replaceable on the old ACC panel, so it must be replaced. The part number for the front face pack is 571500.
Clock Fail – Indicates a problem with the RTC crystal or chip. The code will contain details:

|---|---|
| 10 | Crystal Failure: Crystal has stopped oscillating. Replace the facepack. |
| 2x | Access Failure: Unable to access RTC chip. One’s digit indicates where failure occurred. Replace the facepack. |
| 30 | Value Out of Range: Value read from the RTC chip is not valid. Replace the facepack. |
| 40 | Out of Sync: Time in RTC off from controller time by more than +/- 10 seconds. If it is a 4.01.04 or later, replace it. If earlier than 4.01.04, flash it, and it will usually be fine. |
