Features

The ROAM XL was discontinued in 2025. The ROAM LR is recommended as its replacement. The long-range ROAM LR Remote boasts the same 2 mile line-of-site range and is compatible with most SmartPort® enabled Hunter controllers. ROAM LR transmitters are not compatible with ROAM XL receivers, and vice versa, as each system operates on different radio frequencies. The ROAM XL is warrantied for 3 years from the manufacturing date code. The Roam XL transmitter and receiver both work with ICR transmitters or receivers. So, if you upgrade your ICR remote to Roam XL, you can still use your old ICR receiver. Or if you bring an ICR to a site that has a RoamXL receiver, they will work together.
