Sustained high pressures can occasionally cause water to bypass the bottom seal and enter the silicone chamber of the MP. If this happens, you will notice the MP Rotator spinning at a much higher rate and will need to be replaced. While this doesn't always occur at elevated pressures, it's worth noting that the MP is optimized for 40 psi, with a maximum rated pressure of 55 psi as specified in the catalog spec sheets.
