- Squeeze the battery compartment tabs with two fingers to withdraw the battery compartment.
- Insert the included 2x AA standard alkaline batteries into the terminals. Observe + position.
- Replace the battery compartment.
- Test the power of the device by pressing the manual button on the front of the device and listening to a clicking sound.
- Press again to turn off.
NOTE: Manual button mode runs for a maximum of 60 minutes and then shuts off watering.
